We’ve had the strangest Winter here in the deep South. It’s been mild with spurts of very cold days and nights. The mild Winter has deceived all the plants. As I drive around and even look out my windows, there are beautiful azaleas, blossoming trees, and fruit springing forth.
I mean it’s Winter and the whole county looks like Spring. Looking at our bush full of budding blueberries the Spirit spoke something to me.
Life springs forth even in the coldest Winter.
During some of the most difficullt times in my life, the Father breathed life within me. In the dark he can remove the ugly within our hearts. He can bring forth something so glorious during the Winter seasons in our lives. We just have to trust, wait, and allow Him to do His work.
Don’t discount the beautiful when you feel lifeless, the Father can do mighty things when all hope seems gone. Life can spring forth even in Winter.
Father, seasons of life can be hard and seem to last forever. The Winter months of life can leave us feeling helpless and hopeless. Help us to yield to Your Spirit and stay in communion with You. Help our vision to be corrected so we can learn and see more clear. May we hold onto You, our only hope. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:
